Time Patriot Time and Attendance Pay Rules Setup

Multiple pay rules can be setup to accommodate all types of rules for an employee's time and attendance. If you need some employees that have different breaks, need different rounding rules, or different overtime pay rules, you can make a pay rule and assign employees to the pay rule through the employee edit. The Time Patriot attendance software can accommodate up to two overtime pay tiers and can be disabled easily by removing check marks. Apart from regular weekly and daily overtime pay, Time Patriot time and attendance software can even calculate overtime pay against Saturday, Sunday and Holiday hours. Rounding is user definable in increments of one minute. Changing this setting to the number one can easily disable rounding. In the Time Patriot attendance software you have three rounding settings to round automatically, forward and backwards. After creating breaks in the breaks configuration window check off which breaks you would like employee assigned to a pay rule to have automatically when an employee works in the time frame that the break falls in. Breaks can be paid or unpaid and unpaid breaks can still be tracked at the time clock. Time and attendance software is a valuable tool to save you time and money.
